We believe there can never be enough training, which is why all of our team members are continually taking classes and receiving instruction and certification in the latest techniques. Training and certification are provided by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). The intensive training program of the IICRC sets the standards for the cleaning and restoration industries, so you can trust that our technicians are truly the industry’s best.

We don’t stop with IICRC training though. SERVPRO also offers a range of in-house training for all employees, with everything from employee certification to a franchise training course. We also offer a variety of unique web-based programs with video presentations and support materials that are designed to keep our technicians and office staff on the cutting edge of the industry.

Because a disaster can strike businesses as well as homes, we also have specific training in the particular techniques necessary to address fire and water damage in commercial properties. This can involve large-scale water removal, restoration, and dehumidifying using industrial-grade equipment to easily cover extensive spaces.

Our training begins before each franchise even opens. All new franchise owners participate in a 15-day hands-on course at the SERVPRO Corporate Training Facility that provides information on the latest techniques in fire restoration, water restoration, carpet and upholstery cleaning, and mold mitigation. This way we can guarantee that every franchise is ready to provide the best quality service from day one.
